They're a DREAM! Even with a short torso.

"These Hi Line Shortie bottoms are incredible. I usually don't do well with high waisted items having a short torso and I can't do tight clothes at all, but I LOVE them. They sit around my belly button and they're not overly compressive making them super comfortable. I wore them all day at the beach with no issues! Great coverage. I wear a S in the Wear To Bottom bottoms, a S in these and usually XS/2 shorts. When I originally contacted LOF for sizing help, they said to go with S in both top and bottom. They were right. Highly recommend!!!"

"Finally! A bottom that provides full coverage! Bought 2. So very comfortable, stays put. Paired with the streamline top for a sporty look. I typically wear the hi tide bottom which leaves a bit to be desired on the back side. I wear a small in both, although the shortie rise is not quite as high as the hi tide."

"I like the bottoms and finally got the right size after spending $45 on returns. They fit well and look good. There is an inside seem that was very poorly done which should not be happening at this price point. I’m 5’3”, 112 pounds, 27” waist and 35” hips. The rise comes up, markedly higher on the size S then on the size XS I prefer the rise of the XS which hits me just at the belly button."

"Somewhere along the line, swimwear brands decided to only sell swim bottom fronts, while we all naively thought we were getting fronts and backs. Even "full coverage" styles left those of us with wider hips comically UNcovered. Model shots taken at just the right angle made you think "these might finally be the ones!" but alas, they never were. Until the Hi Line Shortie. Big booty swimmers rejoice! You may now strut your stuff with confidence knowing all your bits stay tucked in.  And yes, the fabric really is as smoothing and buttery soft as they say.  "

"Initially, I bought extra small in varsity, but they were extremely tight so I sized up and now they come up too high, even though I have a long body and the legs are a bit awkward. There is some gaping in the crotch area where it should be tight. It is beautiful and very well-made but while extra small was a tad small small is a bit big."

Happy with them!

"I had been looking everywhere for swim bottoms for an active day in the waves that wouldn't ride up. These were a bit pricier than what I was hoping to spend, but I really couldn't find another boyshort option that I liked. I love that these have no front seam (seriously, why are some companies still making leggings, swim bottoms, etc. with uncomfortable and unflattering front seams???) and a snug, compressive high rise. The only downside other than price is that these bottoms take a long time to dry. I got a small - I'm 5'4" and 125 lbs."

Hi Line shortie

"I found as soon as they get wet, the fabric bunches and folds a lot. I’m constantly pulling it flat. I’ve had shorts from other brands that stay in place so I’m not sure why these don’t. For the high price, I would have expected them to be better. I won’t buy again."

"These are my favorite bathing suit bottoms I have ever had. I am 5’2”, about 120 lbs, and purchased the small. They fit perfectly.
