Job Summary
The Retail Floor Leader is an important role of the store impacting the shopping guest and working teams experience. The primary responsibilities include facilitating great guest experience, supporting the team's needs, leading assigned store operations and working in partnership with the Store Manager on day-to-day operations. Through this role you will support the overall brand objectives of building brand awareness, connecting with guests IRL and guest acquisition.

Sales Floor Leadership: Lead by example by interacting with guests and making decisions that value our guest’s time. Ensure that efficiency and effectiveness of store operations are maintained.
Opening and Closing: Following the opening and closing store checklist to ensure the store is always set up for success. Open the store with integrity to store operating hours.
Guest Engagement: You provide an engaging guest experience by greeting and educating them on our product. You foster lasting guest relationships where they want to come back to the store again and again.
Product Knowledge: You have a deep understanding of our product from fit, fabric and function to color, style and size that allows you to make the best recommendations to guests.
Fit Sessions: You are a fit and style expert for try-on sessions and private parties. You create a comfortable environment in the fitting rooms for guests to try on swimwear.
Visual Merchandising: You ensure inventory and visual merchandising standards are maintained for a premium and organized store experience.
Operations: You execute daily in-store operational tasks, including processing sales, restocking, cleaning, etc. You work in partnership with the retail store manager to ensure company policies and procedures are in alignment and are tracking to the store's goals.
Continuous Learning: You give and receive feedback and share openly as an opportunity to grow.
Community Activations: You lead and/or support hosting community events for guests to experience the brand IRL.

Proficient in ShopifyPOS
Previous retail and guest services experience (2-4 years)
Experience leading others in the workforce
A self starter who is eager, agile and resourceful
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong curiosity and general interest in understanding guest needs
Ability to work a full-time schedule including varied hours/days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Naturally connects with people in a relatable way
Passionate about building a brand
Loves being in, on and around water
Creates a fun and welcoming environment
Always up for adventure
Eligibility
Must be 18 or older
Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Hourly Salary band: $21 - 24 CAD
Availability: Full time, must be available weekends, evenings and holidays
