We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented seamstress to support our Product Engineering and Design team on an on-call basis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with apparel, solving construction challenges, and helping bring new product ideas to life.
You’ll work closely with our small, collaborative team to support garment development through sample sewing, fit updates, and prototype adjustments — helping us move quickly and efficiently through the product development process.
Sew and modify prototypes, samples, and development garments
Execute mock-up requests by design or development teams
Troubleshoot garment construction issues and suggest practical solutions
Assist with finishing details, trims, labeling, and garment prep for fittings or reviews
Participate in occasional in-house prototype workshopping to support faster development timelines
What You’ll Work On
Swimwear and lifestyle apparel samples
Construction testing and sewing solutions
Early-stage prototypes and pre-season samples
Strong sewing skills with experience in apparel construction
Experience sewing stretch fabrics, swimwear, or activewear is a strong asset
Ability to follow technical instructions and work from existing patterns
Good understanding of garment fit and construction principles
High attention to detail and consistency in workmanship
Able to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
(Formal education is not required — practical experience and strong technical sewing skills are most important.)

Work Structure
On-call / project-based hours (flexible depending on development needs)
Hourly Band - $23-$25/hour CAD
Work based in Victoria, BC (ability to work at home and in studio)
