As the Production and Quality Specialist, you will play a key supporting role in the execution of global production, helping ensure our premium active swimwear and lifestyle products meet LOF’s standards for quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery. You’ll work across development, costing, documentation, and bulk production, maintaining the product data and operational systems that keep our team aligned and our supply chain running smoothly.
Build, organize, and maintain the TOP (Top-of-Production) library, ensuring accurate tracking and storage of seasonal and carryover samples.
Measure TOPs against MMS and assist with documenting quality and construction observations.
Create and maintain SKU documents for new style colourways
Manage HS code documentation and support compliance-related updates as new products are introduced.
Calculate the weights of new products to support duty classification, shipping documentation, and cost accuracy.
Create and/or Review UPC sticker submissions from factories for accuracy before production approval.
Collect seasonal vendor cost sheets and maintain the Product Costing Master to ensure up-to-date accuracy across all programs.
Share updated costs in Proto meetings and support the team with cost comparison tools and summaries.
Track vendor submissions (TOPs, UPCs, cost sheets) to ensure completeness and follow-up where needed.
Assist with the preparation and organization of PO documentation, On Order production trackers, and vendor communication.
Manage Hand Over Date (HOD) tracking and change communication across vendors and internal teams.
Manage Photo sample requests -issuing POs and tracking on time delivery and coordinate with Brand team to support photoshoot timing.
Check vendor invoices against LOF Purchase Orders and flag discrepancies for timely resolution with the Production Manager and Finance.
Support the production team with document uploads, naming conventions, and data accuracy within PLM and internal tools.
Lead TOP (Top of Production) sample approvals, reviewing TOPs next to approved PP samples to ensure they meet all specifications and quality expectations. Record any variances and provide feedback to the product team and factories to release shipments.
Review bulk inspection reports submitted by finished goods factories prior to shipment release. Share discrepancies, out of tolerance incidence with the Product team. Communicate feedback and approvals/rejections to vendor.
Support tracking of seasonal quality issues, ensuring notes, photos, and corrective actions are captured accurately.
Help ensure vendors are working from the correct technical documentation (tech packs, CC labels, UPCs, packaging specifications).
Support Planning, Merchandising, Design, and Logistics with accurate product information, costs, and submission statuses.
Provide timely updates on sample status, UPC reviews, costing documents, and any data changes that impact other teams.
Assist in organizing and managing production-related materials.
Support in-person events and company meetings.
Support Shipping and Receiving of all packages.

2-5 years of experience in apparel production, development, product operations, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy is your superpower.
Comfortable working with numbers, costing sheets, and product data; strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
Understanding of apparel construction, measurements, and production processes is an asset.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams and vendors.

Location - must be based in Victoria
Reports To: Commercialization Manager
Full-time (Monday to Friday)
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 days remote
