Role Overview:
As Production & Quality Manager, you are accountable for global production execution and bulk quality performance across swimwear and lifestyle categories.
You own on-time delivery, vendor output performance, and bulk quality standards. This role ensures that product ships on schedule, meets LOF’s premium performance expectations, and scales responsibly as the business grows.
This is a strategic leadership role overseeing vendor production flow and quality accountability. Day-to-day inspection coordination and reporting are supported by the Production & Quality Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the production critical path from PO issuance through bulk delivery.
Build and manage seasonal production calendars and monthly vendor capacity plans.
Convert projections into realistic monthly output alignment with vendors.
Monitor WIP weekly and hold vendors accountable to confirmed HODs.
Identify production risks early and implement mitigation plans.
Escalate delays with structured recovery plans to protect margin and revenue.
Own bulk quality performance across all production vendors.
Define and enforce LOF’s bulk quality standards and AQL expectations.
Oversee inline and final inspection execution in partnership with the Production & Quality Specialist.
Review inspection reports, defect trends, and systemic failure patterns.
Lead vendor CAPA processes for recurring or material issues.
Partner with Product Engineering and Raw Materials Development to resolve construction or material-driven quality risks.
Monitor return data and customer feedback to inform continuous improvement.
Drive year-over-year reduction in defect rates and quality-related chargebacks.
Lead monthly capacity alignment discussions with vendors.
Secure and protect LOF’s production allocation.
Conduct structured vendor performance reviews across delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
Partner with Sourcing Manager on vendor scorecards, benchmarking, and long-term manufacturing strategy.
Support margin protection through disciplined production management.
Maintain clear visibility for Merchandising by sharing WIP reporting, monitoring HODs, and proactively communicating delivery risks that may impact launch timing.
Align with Raw Materials Development on material readiness and quality risk.
Collaborate with Sourcing Manager on vendor onboarding and performance evaluation.
Partner with Product Engineering on spec compliance and construction standards.
Provide leadership visibility into production risk, quality metrics, and capacity health.
Support scalable process development as LOF grows.

Qualifications & Skills
7–10 years of experience in apparel production and quality management (swim/active preferred).
Demonstrated ownership of bulk quality performance at vendor level.
Strong knowledge of AQL standards, inline/final inspection protocols, stretch garment construction, and defect analysis.
Experience managing domestic and offshore vendor networks.
Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving capability.
Structured, process-oriented, and decisive.
Comfortable holding vendors accountable while maintaining long-term partnerships.
Experience operating in a high-growth, scaling environment.Â

Salary Range: $90,000 - 95,000 CAD
