We’re on the hunt for a fun, outgoing, and enthusiastic Team Lead to join our team at our Toronto Store. As the face of Left On Friday, you'll help make our customers feel right at home and introduce them to everything we’re all about. Core Responsibilities

• Lead and Inspire the Team: You help guide, motivate, and support the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, fostering a positive, high-energy, and results-driven environment.

• Exceptional Customer Experience: You lead by example, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and educated on our brand and product. You build lasting relationships, turning first-time visitors into loyal guests.

• Brand & Product Expertise: From fit, fabric, and function to color, style, and size — you know our product inside and out. You empower the team to make confident recommendations that help guests feel amazing in their swimwear.

• Fit Sessions: You create a comfortable, inviting space on the floor and in fitting rooms — whether for solo guests or private try-on parties — ensuring guests feel supported, confident, and empowered to find their perfect fit.

• Opening and Closing Duties: You’re responsible for ensuring the store is set up and ready to go before guests arrive — and properly closed down at the end of the day. This includes counting cash, securing the store, and making sure everything is clean, organized, and prepped for the next day’s success.

• Operations & Store Excellence: You help run the show — overseeing daily tasks like processing sales, restocking, and keeping the space clean and organized. You work alongside the Manager to ensure company policies and procedures are followed.

• Visual Merchandising: You ensure the store always looks on point — maintaining inventory levels, displays, and product flow to create an inspiring, organized shopping experience.

• Problem Solving: You handle any in-the-moment challenges with confidence and ease, keeping operations smooth and the team focused.

• Community Activations: You’re an on-the-ground leader in helping to plan and host community events, introducing more people to Left On Friday IRL.

• Continuous Growth: You take initiative to learn, grow, and develop — giving and receiving feedback to support your own development and the team’s success.

Key Skills & Experience 

• Previous retail and guest services experience 

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in Shopify POS preferred 

• Strong curiosity and general interest in understanding guest needs

• Ability to work a part-time schedule including varied hours/days including nights, weekends and holidays as needed

• Naturally connects with people in a relatable way

• Loves being in, on and around water

• Creates a fun and welcoming environment

Eligibility

• Must be 18 or older

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country where the store is located (Toronto, ON).

Hourly band: $19.50-$20.50 CAD.
Location: Toronto, ON Canada
Availability: Full time, must be available weekends and holidays
