Showroom Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Showroom Manager to lead and drive sales at our Victoria Showroom location while growing our brand awareness through local relationships and activations. As a Showroom Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, lead the showroom team, and build a welcoming, customer-first environment. You will also act as a community leader, developing relationships and local marketing strategies to grow our brand in the region. You will be an ambassador for the Left On Friday experience, delivering exceptional customer service, managing store performance, and fostering a positive environment for both customers and staff.

This role reports into the Director of Merchandising.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retail Sales Management:

    • Own the Victoria Showroom from in-store experience to sales performance.

    • Lead and motivate the showroom team to meet and exceed sales targets.

    • Manage day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring excellent customer service and store presentation.

    • Oversee inventory management, ensuring products are stocked, organized, and displayed according to company guidelines.

    • Drive a customer-centric environment, creating lasting relationships with customers through personalized service and knowledge of our products.

    • Facilitate private shopping appointments by scheduling one-on-one sessions with customers, offering personalized shopping guidance, product recommendations, and styling advice.

    • Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Community and Marketing Engagement:

    • You are a community ambassador for Left On Friday, fostering relationships, participating in local events and executing on initiatives that drive brand awareness.

    • Develop, implement and execute on local marketing strategies to attract and engage the local customer base.

    • Partner with local influencers, organizations, and events to increase visibility and promote the brand.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Hire, train, and develop showroom staff to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction and sales performance.

    • Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.

    • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive team culture.

  • Operational Excellence:

    • Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

    • Manage showroom schedules, staffing, and operational costs efficiently.

    • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in retail sales or showroom management, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands.

  • Experience with facilitating private shopping appointments or one-on-one customer experiences is a plus.

  • Excellent at cultivating relationships

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

  • Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

  • Knowledge of local market trends and community-building strategies.

  • Ability to think creatively and drive innovative marketing initiatives.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

  • This position requires the candidate to be based in Victoria, BC, and work on-site.


Location
: Victoria, BC Onsite 
Salary: $60,000-70,000 CAD
