Head of Marketing

Must be based in Los Angeles, California

The Head of Marketing drives marketing priorities directly with LOF’s founders and the team to ensure the brand is achieving long-term goals. The role’s objective is to develop, manage and execute all marketing activities and simultaneously build brand equity. The role requires a customer-centric mindset, love for problem solving, high standard of execution and data-driven mindset. You will get to work with a small, brilliant team on one of the most desirable, fast growing DTC brands out there today! 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing LOF’s marketing strategy, plan and integrating a strategic mix of paid, earned and owned media to drive sales.
  • Overseeing the tactics, execution and day-to-day management of our marketing channels focused on driving sales. 
  • Understand all marketing initiative impact based on type (awareness, acquisition, retention) and constantly come up with new marketing ideas that will support the strategic plan.
  • Work with the cross functional team to understand the business (ecommerce, brand, merchandising, inventory) to best support from a marketing perspective.
  • Build and put reporting in place to measure WoW, MoM and ad hoc marketing initiatives impact per channel and as a whole, tracking sales to achieve channels KPI’s and tracking budget.
  • Analyze the data to make strategic marketing decisions to increase new customers and sales.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer, competition, market and trends.
  • Train, develop and lead a small team. Work in partnership with company stakeholders.
  • The Head of Marketing will have a direct report and report directly to the co-founder.

Key traits/experience we’re looking for: 

  • 8-10 years of experience with a background in growth marketing
  • Strong digital marketing experience focused on customer acquisition and retention
  • Strong background in strategy formation with a 360 channels view
  • Experience in managing multi channels
  • Experience managing a small team and agency
  • Proven data background with the ability to create and read reporting
  • Experience in a D2C brand is a plus

Work Location

  • Hybrid - work from home and in person. Minimum 2x/ in person at Venice office. 
  • Must be willing to travel.
